Workplace Giving
Corporate philanthropy has always been an important part of doing business in Central Pennsylvania. One way in which companies can get involved is by inspiring their employees. The Cultural Enrichment Fund helps engage those employees through workplace giving campaigns.
Workplace giving campaigns are an efficient and effective way of raising money through donations made by individuals in their place of employment. A workplace giving campaign can reach large numbers of people at relatively low cost. This kind of fundraising would be cost prohibitive for any one arts organization to do alone. Employees are given a chance to learn about the Cultural Enrichment Fund, typically through a performance by one of our member groups, and then asked to help support the arts throughout our region.
The Cultural Enrichment Fund currently conducts workplace giving campaigns with:
Capital BlueCross
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (State Employees Combined Appeal - SECA)
Journal Publications / Central Penn Business Journal
ParenteBeard LLC
Penn National Insurance
U.S. Government (Combined Federal Campaign - CFC)
Each campaign is custom-tailored to the culture and preferences of the employer. CEF is always looking to expand the number of workplace givign participants.
